Hello, I'm Kathleen O'Shea, a dedicated Psychotherapist committed to guiding individuals through a transformative journey towards mental well-being. Rooted in the transformative practice of Transcendental Meditation, my therapeutic approach is centered on the individual, prioritizing client needs in a collaborative journey.

Specializing in anxiety and depression, my focus extends beyond symptom relief to emphasize the profound development of self-acceptance and the cultivation of a positive self-image. I firmly believe that mental health support should be accessible to all, and as such, my practice is designed to be affordable and inclusive, ensuring that everyone can access the support they need.

In the therapeutic space I create, characterized by affirmative therapy, individuals are encouraged to explore their unique narratives in a non-judgmental environment. Through this process, we collaboratively work towards resilience, self-discovery, and holistic well-being. I am passionate about fostering a diverse and affirming therapeutic experience for each client, recognizing the power of embracing individuality on the path to healing.

My practice is client centered. Focuses on enabling individuals from diverse backgrounds to move forward by processing conflict which may often be the cause of anxiety and depression. The goal is to work through trauma that may impact interpersonal relationships today. In my practice, I prioritize development of self-acceptance and the resolution of conflict: working on building positive self-image and exploration for personal goal development and reducing the feelings hopelessness and guilt. I believe in creating a safe space to build a positive, supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship with mutual respect. Working in the mental health space since 1991, I have successfully helped a lot of people lead a healthy and a happy lifestyle.
